Senior Buyer - Staffordshire - £45,000 – Permanent

Your new role

  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships.
  • Monitor market trends and supply chain risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, and Operations.
  • Support new product development and innovation projects.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and sustainability goals.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 2+ years in procurement or buying roles within manufacturing, ideally in food, nutrition, chemicals, or pharmaceuticals.
  • Proven track record of strategic sourcing, cost negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
  • Experience supporting new product development and working cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, and Operations.

What you'll get in return

You will receive an annual salary of £45,000 depending on experience. This business is looking for a candidate who is based in Staffordshire as they do not offer a hybrid working policy.
