You will join a collaborative procurement team, taking ownership of a defined portfolio of service and maintenance contracts covering critical equipment. The job focusses on securing strong agreements, ensuring strong supplier performance, compliance, and continuity of service within a regulated environment.

Your new role

You’ll lead commercial negotiations, manage contract lifecycles, and act as a key contact for strategic suppliers and internal stakeholders, contributing to consolidated and sustainable service arrangements.

• Deliver value‑driven service contract strategies that improve profitability, efficiency, and supplier sustainability
• Place external service contracts on time, to agreed technical, commercial, and margin targets
• Performance‑manage key suppliers, ensuring quality, compliance, and value for money
• Own contract delivery end‑to‑end, meeting service levels, risk controls, and customer requirements
• Produce concise quarterly performance and spend reports, highlighting risks and opportunities
• Maintain audit‑ready contract and renewal data to support effective lifecycle management

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in a Buyer or Procurement role

• Strong capability in commercial negotiation, contract terms, and service levels

• Experience managing suppliers and monitoring performance

• High attention to detail with contract records, renewals, and purchase orders

• Confident stakeholder engagement across technical, operational, and commercial teams

• Comfortable working within regulated or compliance‑led environments

• CIPS Qualification
