Your new role
- Source and purchase materials, components, and equipment in line with procurement strategies and policies
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate competitive terms to optimise cost and delivery
- Prepare detailed supplier specifications and ensure compliance with purchasing standards
- Analyse buying data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability
- Resolve queries from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication
- Support stakeholder engagement and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to regulatory and company codes of conduct

What you'll need to succeed

- 3–6 years’ experience in a purchasing or procurement role
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
- Ability to analyse data and identify cost optimisation opportunities
- Knowledge of procurement processes and compliance standards
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in planning and prioritising workload to meet deadlines
- Educated to A-Level or equivalent; professional development in procurement (e.g., CIPS) desirable
