Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in the Leamington Spa area to recruit a Business Teacher for a full-time position starting in September.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and knowledgeable business specialist to join a supportive department and make a positive impact on student outcomes across Key Stages 4 and 5.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging business lessons, inspiring students to achieve their full potential and develop a strong understanding of the subject.
This is a full teaching role and will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality Business lessons to KS4 and KS5 students
- Marking and assessing student work in line with school policies
- Monitoring student progress and providing targeted support where required
- Creating a positive and engaging learning environment
- Attending departmental meetings, parents' evenings, training sessions, and whole-school events
- Contributing to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
- Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Recent experience teaching Business within a UK secondary school
- Ability to teach Business Studies at KS4 and KS5
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for business education
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
