The Role
We are seeking a committed and knowledgeable Business Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school with an immediate start available. This role will begin on a temporary basis until the end of the academic year, with a strong opportunity to transition into a permanent post from September.
This is an excellent chance to join a supportive department and inspire students to develop a strong understanding of business concepts and real-world applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and structured Business Studies lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
- Plan, assess, and monitor student progress in line with curriculum standards.
- Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment
- Support student attainment and encourage critical thinking
- Contribute to departmental planning and wider school life
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Proven experience teaching within a UK secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A passion for education and student achievement
