You’ll be joining the Business Services Team (BST), a central support function within the Health and Social Care sector. BST plays a vital role in delivering shared services, system administration, candidate support, and application management across a range of platforms including FPL, CRM, SharePoint, and HRPTS. Based in Franklin Street, Belfast, this team is known for its collaborative culture and commitment to continuous improvement.
Your new role
As a System Administrative Support Officer, you’ll provide high-quality administrative and systems support across multiple service areas. You’ll act as a key point of contact for internal customers, assist with data analysis and reporting, and support the smooth operation of BST applications. Your responsibilities will include managing system interfaces, supporting testing cycles, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with governance protocols. You may also be assigned to specific projects or operations depending on business needs.
What you'll need to succeed
- A minimum of five GCSEs, including English and Maths (Grades A–C) or equivalent.
- At least one year’s relevant experience in master data management and systems administration.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- A working knowledge of Health and Social Care and current sector trends.

- Act as a first point of contact for internal customers, escalating queries as needed and ensuring timely resolution.
- Provide high-quality administrative and systems support across BST service areas, including data input and report preparation.
- Manage system interfaces and perform timely updates and adjustments in line with governance and SLA requirements.
- Support application users with non-technical queries and assist in testing cycles for FPL systems.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of protocols, procedures, and system improvements within the team.
