Business Reporting Analyst - Contract - £300 per day

Job Title: Business Reporting Analyst (Contract until November 2026)

Location: Belfast (Hybrid) Contract Type: Day Rate

About the Role: We are seeking a motivated Business Reporting Analyst to join my client's Markets Controls & Regulatory team. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter with a passion for data analytics, process improvement, and automation. You will play a key role in transforming manual reporting processes into streamlined, automated solutions while delivering accurate and timely management information.

What You’ll Do:
  • Produce and distribute weekly and monthly management reports while supporting automation initiatives.
  • Translate data into actionable insights to drive business strategies and inform senior leadership decisions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop clear documentation.
  • Perform data validation, quality checks, and unit testing to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Explore new data sources, tools, and technologies to continuously improve reporting processes.
  • Support decision-making through effective communication and presentation of findings.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in data analysis, reporting, or similar roles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex data flows.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Access, SharePoint, Visio, PowerPoint).
  • A proactive mindset with enthusiasm for technology and innovation.
