Job Title: Business Manager

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the school’s operations. This includes overseeing facilities management, health and safety, administrative support, and financial management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment.
  • Oversee the maintenance and improvement of school facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage the school’s budget and financial planning.
  • Coordinate administrative support services, including HR and IT.
  • Liaise with external contractors and service providers.
  • Support the Headteacher and senior leadership team in strategic planning and decision-making.
Person Specification:
  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Financial acumen and experience with budget management.
  • Proficiency in IT and administrative systems.
