Business Development / Sales Manager (National) – (Technical/Construction) – London Area (£70,000 + Bonus)
Our client is an established global leader in their market supplying high-value Leisure Facilities to a range of clients nationally from Public Sector & Private Sector, Leisure, Wellness and Hospitality Businesses.
You will be a Sales Lead for the UK, coordinating and reporting to the European Head Office in a semi-autonomous technical sales role. Supported by a technical team and Head Office.
This is a stable role with long-term growth targets and long lead times. Key skills will be relationship building, the ability to manage and liaise with key stakeholders throughout the whole process.
There is a career path to UK&I Business Manager from this role.
In this role you will:
Developing and building existing sales and technical networks.
Coordinating with your European Area Lead and the marketing department on UK&I strategy.
Implementing marketing, communication, and local events for brand development.
Preparing the UK&I area budget with European Area Lead, with revenue targets and monitoring/reporting on progress.
Developing the order pipeline overseeing the lead phase with support from the European Area Lead & Technical Support Engineer. Accepting or rejecting projects, based on risk analysis (using the Company Risk Matrix).
Conducting market analysis (competition, segments, demand analysis, customer satisfaction, SWOT analysis).
Cross-selling products and services (consulting, engineering, after-sales).
Monitoring and reporting on budget, and related forecasts, project pipeline, new sales contracts, and new agreements.
Managing changes impacting quality, costs, and timelines on project management.
Monitoring results of local distributors, sales stakeholders and company ambassadors.
Verifying and managing compliance with contractually agreed payment terms.
You will:
Have experience working in a Lead Sales/BD role engaging with Developers, Contractors, Architects, Consultants and Local & National Government. This will require an understanding of technical and/or construction processes (supported by technical specialists).
Be able to evidence delivering business growth and managing long lead times.
Ideally have contacts in the Leisure, Hotel, Residential, Sports industries, enabling access to Development/ Construction/ Upgrade Projects.
