Wound Care and Infection Prevention Specialists seeking BDM based in the East of England

Your new company

An innovative medical care manufacturing company, continuously striving to improve medical care. Their wound care, surgery, infection control and patient safety products are developed with advanced technology and the user in mind.


Your new role

  • To be aware of all opportunities to further increase new and sustainable growth

  • Lead relationship and negotiation with senior stakeholders including national Key Opinion Leaders

  • Effectively negotiate and influence key stakeholders

  • Deliver compelling commercial narratives accelerating communication

  • To achieve or exceed challenging growth targets

  • Meet or exceed sales targets contributing to ambitious growth plans

  • To be highly knowledgeable on your competitors’ products and how to sell effectively against them

  • To implement the strategy and tactics as directed and maintain business plans

  • To provide any market information that could be useful to the company

  • To perform special duties, as may be required from time to time

  • Normal working hours are from 9.00 am - 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday, but by nature of the work, a high degree of flexibility is required, including weekend work as necessary


What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience of medical sales

  • Excellent communication skills, Influential/persuasive

  • Demonstrate strong ability to build new business and make new contacts

  • Ability to meet or exceed sales targets contributing to ambitious growth plans

  • Commercially focused, with ability to identify opportunities, and proactively deliver results

  • Able to demonstrate initiative

  • Experience of dealing with the NHS, Hospitals, and community – including procurement, pharmacy, and key opinion leaders

  • Proven experience of territory mapping

  • A current driving licence with no more than three points
