Corporate Risk & Business Assurance Manager
Sector – Public Sector – Department of Health and Social Care
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – Salary up to 60k
Location: National travel required to Manchester, Birmingham, and London

The Corporate Risk & Business Assurance Manager will lead the organisation’s approach to risk management, business assurance, and compliance. This role will act as the strategic owner of the corporate risk register, ensure effective oversight of internal control frameworks, and support the development, implementation, and monitoring of organisational policies.

The post‑holder will also act as the lead for corporate governance systems, manage Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, and support the business in achieving operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

We are looking for an experienced candidate who has experience working in risk management, assurance, governance, or compliance in a corporate or public‑sector environment.

You will have a strong understanding of risk frameworks, internal controls, and assurance processes and a proven ability to manage FOI or similar statutory information governance requirements.
