Business Analyst Contract – Paying up to £425 Per Day, Outside IR35, Based in South Wales, Hybrid Working, 6 Month Contract, To Start ASAP

Your new role

We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to lead project inception and shape investment decisions across a range of business and IT initiatives. This is a high-impact contract role where you’ll engage stakeholders, define scope, and drive projects from idea through to approved investment.

You’ll be confident facilitating workshops, capturing and refining requirements, and translating business needs into clear, actionable outputs. You’ll be self-sufficient, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities at pace.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead workshops and stakeholder sessions to elicit and document requirements

• Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria

• Collaborate with technical teams to align requirements with solutions

• Support supplier selection and procurement activity where needed

• Produce high-quality investment papers covering costs, risks, timelines, and benefits

• Drive decision-making with stakeholders to meet key investment deadlines
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst with strong core BA delivery skills

• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement ability

• Strong facilitation and listening skills, with a proactive, independent approach

• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritise effectively

• A tenacious mindset, able to challenge and drive outcomes
