Business analyst, 12-month contract, up to £580 p/d, Belfast (on-site)
We are currently working with a global financial client in the recruitment of a Senior BA specialising in program execution & transformation. This role will be mainly specialising in MIFID project governance and will be focussed on implementing a solution to meet compliance of the UK Consumer Composite Investments by delivering changes to policies and procedures, documentation, system changes, controls, reporting and governance.
Role responsibilities:
- Review regulatory requirements and gather business / legal and compliance requirements
- Participate where required in discussion with industry bodies e.g. trade associations
- Gap analysis to identify current state solution against the required enhancements
- Propose solution options
- Enhance BAU process and controls
- Document new or changes to existing policies and procedures where applicable
- Data analysis as required
What you will need to succeed in this role:
- At least 5 years’ experience working as a BA in an enterprise environment
- Working knowledge of MIFID project governance
- Experience with control assessment review and enhancement
- Proficiency with reporting tools
The role is initially for a 12-month period there is a possibility of extension depending on the client’s needs. This role will be based in Belfast and will require the resource to attend the Belfast office 3 days p/w. Only candidates that would be able to attend the office 3 days per week will be considered.
