As the Business Analyst, you will act as the primary contact for the time-recording and rates workstreams within this firm's PMS migration. Your key responsibilities and core skills/experience will include:
- Gather and document requirements across key business areas for time-entry and rate-related processes, documenting and validating those requirements for standard, client-specific, volume discount, alternative fee arrangement (AFA), and blended rate structures.
- Support the configuration of rate hierarchies, rate exceptions, timekeeper classifications, and jurisdictional rate compliance within the new PMS.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and partner with IT vendors to ensure efficient time-capture workflows and proper set up of time-entry templates.
- You'll bring demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst on a complex enterprise PMS or ERP transformation within a law firm (or similar professional services environment).
- Strong grasp of S2C processes, with emphasis on time recording and rates management; also a strong grasp of leading PMS platforms (Elite 3E, Aderant, SAP etc.) and an understanding of legal billing models
