Hays has partnered with a leading international investment bank to appoint a Senior Business Analyst to an initial 6-month contract. If you're an experienced regulatory reporting Business Analyst, with demonstrated experience in agile delivery/product ownership as well as EMIR and MIFID, then we want to hear from you.

Contract Length: 6 months + potential to extend
Work Arrangements: Hybrid (2 days in-office in London)
Rate: £700 - £750/day inside via Umbrella

Your new role and what you'll need to succeed

As the Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining the regulatory product (EMIR, MIFID) roadmap for this organisation, communicating effectively with key stakeholders and specifying business requirements for new and existing applications. As this firm is undergoing an agile transformation around their project delivery, the key skills you will bring to the table include:

• A strong background in Agile project delivery, ideally with experience in (or the ability to quickly apply) a product ownership lens to your work
• Demonstrated experience in the regulatory report of BOTH MIFID and EMIR, with JFSA being a nice-to-have.
• Strong knowledge in banking systems is essential, and an understanding of market data (Bloomberg, Refinitiv) will be very highly regarded.
• Technical skills in SQL and experience in handling complex datasets will be a plus.
