Job Overview:
Lead Business Analyst (FinCrime & KYC) Seeking a senior Business Analyst to lead analysis across large‑scale Financial Crime, KYC, and AML transformation programmes. This role requires deep regulatory and operational expertise, strong enterprise‑level thinking, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across Compliance, Operations, Technology, and Product. You will shape analysis strategy, define operating models, and drive delivery across multiple FinCrime/KYC initiatives.
- Location: Northampton
- Contract: Until 31/12/2026
- Pay Rates: £395/day MUST BE PAYE THROUGH UMBRELLA
- Days on site: 2–3
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for business analysis across complex FinCrime/KYC portfolios, ensuring alignment with regulatory and enterprise priorities.
- Lead end‑to‑end process and operating model design across KYC, CDD, EDD, Screening, and Transaction Monitoring.
- Define requirements strategy for major FinCrime change programmes, translating regulatory obligations into clear business and functional requirements.
- Oversee platform and capability analysis across KYC case management, AML detection engines, customer data platforms, and workflow tools.
- Act as senior escalation point, managing stakeholder alignment across Compliance, Operations, Technology, and external partners.
- Support quality assurance, ensuring regulatory traceability and improved user experience across KYC/AML systems.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven leadership in FinCrime, KYC, AML, or regulatory transformation programmes.
- Strong enterprise modelling, operating model design, and requirements strategy experience.
- Ability to bridge business, regulatory, and technical perspectives with senior stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of KYC/AML processes, risk scoring, screening, workflow orchestration, and regulatory expectations.
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams and driving best‑practice analysis.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with enterprise/business architecture frameworks.
- Ability to mentor senior BAs and uplift analysis standards.
- Familiarity with FinCrime technologies (case management, fuzzy matching, TM systems, risk engines).
