As a Building Surveyor, you’ll play a pivotal role in projects. Your primary focus will be on contract administration, ensuring seamless execution from inception to completion.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
1. Contract Management: You’ll manage all types of programs and contracts proactively. This includes chairing meetings, monitoring work progress, recording delays, and exercising budgetary control.
2. Quality Assurance: You’ll examine and analyse contract documents, ensuring compliance with BREEAM and Section 106 clauses. Your attention to detail will contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality projects.
3. Client Liaison: You’ll collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. Your excellent communication skills will be essential in maintaining strong relationships and addressing any project-related queries.
4. Technical Expertise: Drawing from your contract administration experience, you’ll provide professional advice on all aspects of property and construction. Whether it’s assessing site conditions, managing labour, or controlling costs, you’ll be the go-to expert.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in building surveying or related field
• 5 years of practical experience
• Proficiency in relevant software tools (AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.)
• Strong organisational skills and an eye for detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
