We are seeking a talented Building Services Engineer to join a dynamic and forward-thinking consultancy specialising in mechanical and electrical design for modern, sustainable buildings. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work on innovative projects while enjoying a full-time salary for a 4-day week – giving you long weekends, every weekend.

Your new role

  • Design and develop mechanical and electrical building services systems from concept through to completion.
  • Prepare technical drawings, calculations, and specifications using AutoCAD/Revit.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, building regulations, and sustainability targets.
  • Contribute to energy-efficient and low-carbon design strategies.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Experience in Mechanical or Electrical Building Services design (2+ years preferred).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit MEP (training can be provided).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for sustainable design and energy efficiency.
  • Willingness to travel for occasional site visits.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
