Electrical Inspector (M&E building services)
-Ideal for someone starting their career or someone with a large electrical background looking for something less strenuous.

Seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Inspector to join the team. In this pivotal role, you will support Electrical Engineers and the wider electrical team, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery across a large portfolio of standards and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Based on site, 35 hours per week.
  • Support and assist the FMC Electrical Section to monitor appropriate and acceptable standards of service in electrical engineering design, installation, operation, and maintenance.
  • Ensure electrical engineering activities in your area of responsibility comply with statutory and legislative requirements and University policies/specifications.
  • Produce quality briefing documents to enable consulting engineers to develop design briefs that meet requirements.
  • Monitor electrical standards and manage maintenance activities across a large site infrastructure.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
  • NVQ Level III or equivalent City & Guilds in electrical engineering.
  • Low voltage experience
  • Beneficial to have attended MODGS – You will be placed on this course.
  • Substantial vocational experience.
  • Proven track record in electrical project delivery.
  • Experience with large-site electrical infrastructure.
  • Ability to produce technical documentation and compliance reports.
