Building Safety Data Compliance Officer Needed

The team champions innovation, accuracy and collaboration, supporting the creation and maintenance of essential building safety information across a diverse property portfolio.
Your New Role
As the Building Safety Data Compliance Officer , you will play a key role in managing and maintaining accurate property data to support regulatory building safety cases and the implementation of the Golden Thread of information.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and updating building safety data to ensure it is captured consistently and accurately.
- Analysing and organising development and property information, including H&S and O&M files, to support Building Safety Cases.
- Overseeing the data archive function to ensure information is well ‑ catalogued and easily accessible.
- Working collaboratively with Development and Asset Management teams to support BIM implementation and act as a BIM champion.
- Organising digital evidence required for regulatory submissions, ensuring consistent formatting and high data accuracy.
- Supporting resident engagement activities by helping manage safety ‑ related information for residents.
- Assisting Building Safety Managers with site ‑ based safety data and ensuring all displayed information is up ‑ to ‑ date.
- Working with asset teams to support future safety projects and budget planning.
- Creating retrospective 3D building models to inform future safety and investment decisions.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Essential:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience presenting data using Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working with H&S and O&M documentation.
- Previous experience administering data management systems.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work to agreed timeframes and maintain accurate records.
Desirable:
- Knowledge or experience of BIM.
- Understanding of building and fire safety terminology.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent A ‑ Level qualification).
- Relevant Microsoft or business intelligence certifications.
Other Requirements:
- Mobile working may be required.
