Full Time or Part-Time Bookkeeper for an Established Accountancy Practice

An established and growing accountancy practice with an impressive portfolio of clients.

Your new role
You’ll be responsible for managing bookkeeping tasks for a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries. Your work will help ensure clients have accurate, timely financial information and feel supported throughout the year — not just at year‑end.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for multiple clients
  • Process invoices, receipts, payments, and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare VAT returns and ensure timely submissions
  • Assist with management accounts and financial reporting
  • Liaise with clients to gather information and resolve queries
  • Support the wider team with ad‑hoc accounting tasks
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and HMRC requirements
What you'll need to succeed
  • Previous bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practice
  • Strong knowledge of cloud accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident communicating with clients
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines
