Your new role

As a valued member of this close-knit and collaborative team, you'll take on a key position in overseeing essential financial operations across the business. Your responsibilities will span a variety of core tasks, including:

  • Accurately processing daily financial transactions and managing the complete posting workflow

  • Assisting with account reconciliations for both accounts payable and receivable

  • Recording incoming cheques and cash, and preparing bank lodgements

  • Preparing and posting outgoing cheques with attention to detail

  • Liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve billing and payment queries

  • Posting nominal expenses paid via direct debit or standing order

What you'll need to succeed

Candidates applying for this position should bring solid bookkeeping experience, along with strong communication and people skills. The role requires excellent organisational capabilities and the confidence to juggle multiple tasks effectively. Proficiency across Microsoft Office tools—especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint—is vital. Success in this role hinges on a sharp eye for detail and the ability to navigate competing demands with efficiency and professionalism.
