Your new role
As Bookkeeper, you’ll take ownership of the day‑to‑day financial operations supporting both the core business and its ongoing property developments. You’ll be a pivotal part of the office, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and well‑maintained records across multiple active projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing purchase and sales ledgers
- Processing invoices, expenses, and payments
- Bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting with monthly preparation and reporting
- Supporting the preparation of VAT returns
- Working with external accountants where required
- Providing financial admin support to project teams
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in bookkeeping or finance administration
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach
Confident communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
Experience using accounting software (e.g., Zero, Sage, QuickBooks) is beneficial.
A good understanding of finance processes and compliance
