Your new role

As Bookkeeper, you’ll take ownership of the day‑to‑day financial operations supporting both the core business and its ongoing property developments. You’ll be a pivotal part of the office, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and well‑maintained records across multiple active projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing purchase and sales ledgers
  • Processing invoices, expenses, and payments
  • Bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Assisting with monthly preparation and reporting
  • Supporting the preparation of VAT returns
  • Working with external accountants where required
  • Providing financial admin support to project teams

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or finance administration

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach

  • Confident communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively

  • Experience using accounting software (e.g., Zero, Sage, QuickBooks) is beneficial.

  • A good understanding of finance processes and compliance
