Your new role
As Bid Writer, you’ll produce clear, persuasive and engaging tender responses that articulate the organisation’s commercial approach, technical capability and value proposition. You will:
  • Develop compelling bids and proposals tailored to client requirements.
  • Manage timelines, reviews and approvals to ensure timely, high‑quality submissions.
  • Own technical content throughout each bid lifecycle.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to capture accurate, detailed information.
  • Collaborate with estimating and commercial colleagues to communicate commercial solutions effectively.
  • Contribute ideas that support continuous improvement within the Bid Team.
  • Engage senior stakeholders through review meetings and presentations.
You’ll also support bids across varied disciplines, giving the role breadth and scope beyond any single service area. Professional development opportunities—including APMP certification—are available to support your progression.

What you’ll need to succeed
  • Demonstrable experience in bid writing
  • Solid understanding of bid processes, proposal development and bidding techniques.
  • Excellent written communication skills and the ability to simplify complex detail.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Confidence working with stakeholders at all levels.
