Job Title: Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst
Location: Liverpool – Hybrid Working Available
Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent

Our client is a forward-thinking not-for-profit organisation committed to improving lives and communities through safe, affordable, and sustainable housing. As part of the ongoing digital transformation, they are seeking a skilled BI Analyst with a strong background in social housing to join the Data & Insights team.

As a BI Analyst, you will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across the organisation. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, develop reporting solutions, and ensure data integrity across our housing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Excel.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organisation to identify data needs and deliver insights that drive performance and service improvement.
  • Extract and analyse data from Housing Management Systems (e.g., Northgate, Orchard, Civica, etc.).
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with internal and external reporting standards.
  • Support the development of data strategies and contribute to the organisation’s digital transformation goals.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience as a BI Analyst within the social housing sector.
  • Strong working knowledge of Housing Management Systems and their data structures.
  • Proficient in data visualisation and reporting tools (SQL Server, SSRS reports, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric).
  • Excellent analytical, project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
