Job Description
To work as part of a cross-functional project team to manage the successful delivery of new Bespoke content into the manufacturing area at Goodwood, finding the best solutions balancing between Rolls-Royce systems & customer requirements whilst ensuring that there is no negative effect on the manufacturing KPI's.
What awaits you:
Management of build landscape for Bespoke production with changing and continuously developing product components (new product introductions and current product continuous improvement) .
Managing feature introduction landscape, by effectively prioritising, taking business decisions, chairing cross-function (and cross-plant) project teams, resolving conflict where applicable within the project landscape and plant functions by clear communication and relevant decisions.
Managing technical change request via a consolidation meeting landscape and leading in a common direction on Bespoke issues. Developing and delivering a clear consensus of opinions from cross-functional experts with the goal of achieving the most cost-effective product introductions to the highest quality standards with zero impact on series production.
Degree in automotive engineering or business management and 2 years relevant vocational experience, preferred but not essential
Fluent English, good knowledge of German.
What you should bring along:
Automotive industrial experience (preferably low volume manufacture) in the capacity of Project Management, production planning, logistics or product engineering.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a cross-functional team, interfacing with many different levels which the Project Manager will not have any direct authority over.
