Behaviour Specialist – High School | Preston | September Start | Temp to Perm Opportunity

We are working with a vibrant and inclusive high school in Preston who are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Specialist to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity with the potential to become a long-term or permanent position for the right candidate.
The Role:
Support students with behavioural needs across KS3 and KS4
Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and external agencies
Develop and implement behaviour support strategies and interventions
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Monitor progress and contribute to individual behaviour plans
About You:
Experience working with young people with behavioural or SEMH needs (in schools or similar settings)
Calm, resilient, and empathetic approach
Strong communication and de-escalation skills
A team player with a proactive attitude
Relevant qualifications or training in behaviour management (desirable but not essential)
