We work closely with a variety of primary and secondary schools in the Axminster area, providing experienced and qualified teaching assistants to support pupils and teachers. Our schools value professionals who can adapt quickly and deliver high-quality support in different classroom environments.
Your new role
This is a flexible supply role, ideal for those who enjoy variety and want to gain experience across multiple schools. You will cover day-to-day assignments, stepping in to support teachers and pupils when needed. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
- Providing one-to-one or small group support, including for pupils with SEND
- Helping maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Adapting to different school settings and year groups
What you'll need to succeed
- A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or above)
- Proven experience working in a school setting (primary or secondary)
- Confidence in supporting pupils with varying needs, including SEND
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different classrooms
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
