You will be working as an Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant in a dedicated primary SEN school in Tameside. What You'll Need to Succeed
- Experience supporting children with autism, ideally in a school or care setting
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to behaviour and communication
- Knowledge of visual aids, structured routines, and sensory strategies
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one through Hays)
