Your new role
You will play a key role in the audit team, overseeing audit, accounts, and personal tax assignments, particularly within the financial services sector. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering audits, supervising junior team members, addressing technical queries, and finalising files for managerial review. You will also be involved in drafting client correspondence and ensuring assignments are completed on time and within budget.

What you'll need to succeed
  • ACA or ACCA finalist with relevant experience in practice
  • Strong audit and accounts preparation skills
  • At least 12 months’ experience supervising junior staff
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and ideally accounting software such as CaseWare, Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge of accounting standards
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A client-focused and commercially aware mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform well under pressure
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude
