Your new role

As an Audit Senior, you will lead audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering exceptional client service. You’ll supervise junior staff, liaise with clients, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our audit processes.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Lead and manage audit assignments across a diverse client portfolio
  • Plan audit engagements, including risk assessments and resource allocation
  • Review and prepare financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP/IFRS
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing on-the-job training and feedback
  • Liaise with clients to resolve technical and commercial issues
  • Ensure audits are completed within budget and deadlines
  • Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to internal initiatives
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of auditing standards and industry developments

What you'll need to succeed

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or near to qualifying
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in external audit within a UK practice
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
  • Experience supervising and coaching junior staff
