Your new role
You will support the audit process for large financial services clients and take full responsibility for smaller audit assignments. Your duties will include completing audit sections in line with internal procedures, preparing clear and well-referenced schedules, supervising junior staff, and resolving queries. You will also contribute to audit planning on smaller jobs, manage your own workload, and assist in reviewing the work of others to ensure quality and efficiency.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Currently studying ACA or ACCA, or AAT qualified and looking to progress to ACA or ACCA
  • Experience working in a practice environment
  • Basic understanding of corporation tax computations
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and ideally accounting software such as Sage and CaseWare
  • 6–12 months’ experience supervising junior staff is desirable.
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge of accounting standards
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A client-focused and commercially aware approach
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and perform well under pressure
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude
