Audit and Accounts Partner with RI to join a leading national PE-backed firm in its Manchester office.

I am working with a leading national Accountancy firm who have PE backing, who are looking to appoint an Audit & Accounts Partner with RI status to its Manchester office. This PE-backed firm has over 130+ offices across the UK&I, and the Manchester office is a leading flagship office across the nation, but also in the North. This role is created due to both growth and also succession planning within the Partner team. The firm in Manchester that was acquired had a long-standing reputation for personal service to its clients, as well as a full service line offering internally. Typically, the firm's client base is OMBs, mainly within Greater Manchester but some further afield across the North West.
Your new role
This opportunity is for an Audit and Accounts Partner to join an already large and established Audit and Accounts team. The team of over 30 staff is a mix of long-standing employees and recent starters who were appointed due to growth. There is a newly formed Partner team in place to work alongside and support on an exciting transformation journey which lies ahead, as well as picking up a ready-made portfolio.
What you'll need to succeed
ACA/ACCA qualification with RI status.
You must have both Audit and Accounts expertise.
Extensive experience in audit and assurance, with a proven leadership track record.
Strong technical knowledge of current audit and accounting standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You will be encouraged to bring your ideas and professional experiences to this role.
Ability to lead, inspire and coach your team.
Strategic thinking and a proactive approach to business development.
Proactive approach to staff training and development.
