A market leading independent firm in South Manchester is looking to appoint an Audit Partner with RI

Your new company
I am currently partnering with a leading independent practice based in South Manchester who are looking to appoint an experienced Audit Partner with RI status. This is an exciting opportunity to join a firm which has an excellent reputation across the North West, and are looking to continue their organic growth journey with the addition of a new Audit Partner. This is a newly created role to supplement an already strong Audit team. This firm is passionate about their clients, and supporting them through growth plans, business acquisition / sales, and other complex accounting issues that may occur. With a full service offering, this firm is able to support their clients throughout their lifecycle, and foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Your new role
As this is a newly created role due to organic growth, you will join a strong Audit team already in situ, who have a pool of experienced staff from trainees through to senior level staff. This firm has been passionate about ‘growing their own’ for a number of years, and is in a fortunate position where they do not suffer from staff shortages or skill gaps within the Audit team, something which bucks the trend against the rest of the market.
You will have the opportunity to work with a real range of clients. This firm typically deals with OMBs and entrepreneurial clients, as well as those smaller and larger.
You will ensure compliance and regulatory standards are adhered to, as well as be responsible for leading your own portfolio of clients. This will be a mix of current Audit clients, but in time, newly created work from networking and business development initiatives both in the Audit team but across the wider business.
You will take an active part in the training and development of the Audit team.

What you'll need to succeed
ACA/ACCA qualification with RI status.
Extensive experience in audit and assurance, with a proven leadership track record.
Strong technical knowledge of current audit and accounting standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and inspire a team.
Strategic thinking and a proactive approach to business development.
Proactive approach to staff training and development.

What you'll get in return
This is an opportunity to become part of the senior leadership team with only few of the region's independent firms.
Competitive salary and benefits package.
Opportunity to work with a diverse and dynamic team.
Professional development and career progression opportunities.
A supportive and inclusive work environment.
