The Opportunity
We’re seeking a highly experienced Audit Manager to join the Southampton office. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit engagements across a varied client portfolio
- Ensure high-quality delivery and effective risk management at engagement level
- Build strong client relationships, connecting the right team members to key stakeholders
- Oversee resource planning and team workload, ensuring optimal performance
- Communicate audit findings and progress to clients and Partners proactively
- Manage billing and forecasting, negotiating overruns where necessary
- Support team development through coaching, appraisals, and leadership
About You
- ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent qualified, with substantial external audit experience
- Proven track record in managing audit engagements within a professional services environment
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS 102) and IFRS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and lead
- Experience in business development, including proposals and networking
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate teams to deliver exceptional results
