Your new role
As an Audit Manager, you will play a key leadership role in delivering high‑quality audit services to a diverse and often complex client base, including large corporates, international groups, and fast‑growing entrepreneurial businesses. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of audit clients and overseeing all stages of the audit process
- Leading, coaching, and developing audit teams to ensure high‑quality delivery
- Reviewing audit files and ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, building strong and trusted relationships
- Working closely with senior leadership on technical matters, resource planning, and business development
- Supporting the growth of the audit practice through involvement in proposals and tender activity
This is a role with genuine influence, offering autonomy, visibility, and the chance to contribute to the strategic direction of the team.
What you'll need to succeed
- ACA/ACCA qualified with significant audit experience in a UK practice
- Proven experience managing audit assignments and leading teams
- Strong technical knowledge and confidence handling complex client work
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build long‑term client relationships
- A proactive, organised, and commercially minded approach
