Audit Manager for a leading independent firm in Manchester city centre is required.

A leading independent firm of accountants based in city centre Manchester is looking to appoint an Audit Manager. This firm is dynamic and forward-thinking and has a varied portfolio of clients across a variety of industries, including OMBS and international businesses. Your new role
The Audit Manager will lead audits from start to finish for a varied portfolio of clients. You will be responsible for leading team meetings and managing and mentoring trainees.
You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and identifying opportunities to add value. You will be overseeing the budgeting and resourcing of audit projects to ensure deadlines are met within agreed timeframes and budgets. You will identify and address potential risk areas, proving practical solutions to both the firm and the clients.

What you'll need to succeed
ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualified and have at least 5 years’ experience in an audit role with managerial experience. You will have strong knowledge of UK auditing standards, financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
