Your new role

As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Client Portfolio Management: Take ownership and manage a client portfolio with significant responsibility, oversee your team’s portfolios, and contribute to workflow planning.

  • Revenue and Profitability: Achieve revenue and profitability targets.

  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain long-lasting client relationships.

  • Team Development: Contribute to the development of the team.

Day-to-Day Duties:

  • Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of audit clients, prepare accounts, and handle corporation tax computations/returns for limited companies.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with GAAP and provide practical guidance on regulatory matters such as tax and VAT regulations, UK law requirements, and good governance principles.

  • Support: Perform ad hoc duties to support local partners as needed.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in the role, it's highly desirable that you have the following attributes and experience:

  • Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of IFRS/UKGAAP.

  • Qualifications: ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent qualification.

  • Experience: Proven experience auditing clients across various industries.

  • Mentorship: Experience in coaching and mentoring junior team members.
