Your new role

As Audit Manager, you will manage a portfolio of audit and accountancy assignments, lead and develop members of the Audit team, and play a key role in business development. You’ll attend networking events, contribute to pitches, and work closely with Partners to drive growth and success.

• Managing a portfolio of audit and accountancy assignments
• Supporting Partners and planning work
• Job planning and staff allocation
• Managing teams on assignments and mentoring trainees
• Liaising with clients and finance teams
• Business development and attending client meetings
• WIP and billing management
• Departmental responsibilities and ad-hoc issues

What you'll need to succeed

• Ideally, ACA/ACCA qualified with strong technical competence
• Solid audit experience across varied clients and industries
• Experience in a Mid-Tier Practice is essential
• Proven portfolio management and team leadership skills
• Knowledge of UK GAAP and CaseWare experience advantageous.
• IT literate (Sage/Xero)
• Excellent communication skills
