Audit Assistant Job, Lancaster, £24k-£27k with study support at a top 10 firm
Your new firm
You will be joining a top 10 accountancy firm, who have both a regional and national presence, who offer services including accounts, audit, tax, corporate finance, forensics and more. Your new role
As an audit assistant, you will be joining a strong team of professionals, reporting into your manager and partner daily. Day to day activities will see you taking a lead on the fieldwork and testing stages of an audit file, consisting of going out to a client site, supporting them on any queries or issues throughout whilst providing the best possible service. Other duties will see you shadowing seniors / partners throughout the planning and completion stages, to allow you to gain insight into this side of an audit whilst introducing you on how to complete these stages.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you will need to be part qualified in your professional studies, either ACCA or ACA, whilst having a minimum of 2 years experience in an accountancy firm, either an audit or accounts role (audit is preferred). You will have needed to have experience on the fieldwork and testing stages of an audit, any other exposure to an audit will also be desired.

In return, you will be offered a competitive salary ranging between £24,000 to £27,000, depending on your experience.
