We are exclusively partnering with a globally renowned organisation on a standout opportunity within their legal employment function. This high-performing and growing team plays a pivotal role in managing employment law matters across multiple international regions, including Europe, LATAM, APAC, and Canada.

This is a broad and strategically important role, offering exposure to complex employment issues, litigation management and investigations and employee disputes. It requires strong multi-jurisdictional collaboration and will work with stakeholders across the Human Resources, Employee Resources and Total Rewards teams. The role offers excellent international exposure and room for progression, making it an ideal opportunity for a dynamic and driven candidate.

£110,000 - £125,000 base salary and an impressive total package including bonus, car allowance and shares.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice on a wide range of employment issues, such as recruitment, performance management, disciplinary actions, terminations, reorganisations, complex leave cases, compensation, contingent workforce matters, and internal investigations.
  • Act as a global legal partner for employment matters outside the U.S., with a focus on Australia, Canada and Europe, while also supporting LATAM, APAC, the Middle East.
  • Partner closely with various internal teams globally as well as manage local external counsel.
  • Support with Works Council matters in key European jurisdictions.
  • Draft and review employment-related policies, agreements, and procedures that align with global legal standards and business goals.
  • Monitor legal developments across regions, deliver training/updates to the business and develop strong internal relationships with key internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • UK Qualified Lawyer with in-house or private practice experience (6-8 PQE+ as a guideline)
  • Extensive knowledge of UK/European employment law and regulations as well as experience advising across various jurisdictions internationally.
  • Proven ability to provide sound judgment and agility in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, delivering timely, business-oriented solutions.
  • Excellent communication, persuasion and negotiation skills.
