Your new role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Audit & Accounts Associate Director to join a leading accountancy firm’s Liverpool office. This senior leadership position offers the chance to shape the future of the firm’s audit and accounts services while driving business growth and delivering strategic value to clients. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead and expand a diverse portfolio of audit and accounts clients, delivering expert, commercially focused advice across sectors. You’ll play a key part in driving new business through networking and referrals, while contributing to strategic planning initiatives aimed at boosting revenue and profitability. As a leader, you’ll coach and develop a high-performing team, oversee workflow and resource planning, and ensure the delivery of high-quality client engagements that help organisations navigate complex challenges with confidence. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional ready to make a significant impact in a firm that values innovation, leadership, and client excellence.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with strong technical expertise in audit and accounts within practice. A CTA qualification or experience in tax advisory would be a valuable addition. You’ll bring a proven track record of managing and growing complex client portfolios, alongside demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to inspire and develop teams. Commercial acumen and business development capabilities are essential, as are excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
