An exciting opportunity has opened up for an Associate to join a growing and successful Building Consultancy team in London. The role includes a broad mix of professional and project work across sectors, with clients ranging from investors and developers to public sector bodies. Travel throughout the UK, Europe, and further afield may be involved, offering exposure to a wide variety of property types.
Candidates should have around five years of post-qualification experience, strong leadership capabilities, and confidence in managing complex projects, from client briefing through design, procurement, and delivery. Responsibilities also include consultancy assignments and due diligence.

Regular collaboration occurs with colleagues in investment, planning, development, regeneration, and property management, as part of a full-service consultancy.

This multidisciplinary property consultancy employs over 1,350 professionals across 12 UK offices and delivers strategic, innovative services to a diverse client base.

Your new role

Joining the Building Consultancy Business Unit offers exposure to a high-quality, varied workload with a prestigious client base.

Responsibilities include a combination of professional and project work such as:
  • Administering contracts on both small and large-scale projects
  • Managing and monitoring project progress
  • Conducting building surveys across diverse property types
  • Delivering technical due diligence for acquisitions and disposals
  • Handling party wall matters
  • Preparing planned maintenance schedules

What you'll need to succeed

You will be expected to be fully conversant with working in a multidisciplinary Chartered Surveying environment, and will have excellent technical skills and commercial acumen.
