Your new role
- Building surveys for acquisition, occupation, and investment purposes
- Contract administration for refurbishment, fit-out, and defect rectification projects
- Dilapidations advice and negotiations on behalf of landlords and tenants
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) strategies and reporting
- Defect analysis, diagnosis, and specification of remedial works
- Schedules of Condition, Licence for Alteration reviews, and project monitoring
- Preparation of specifications, schedules of work, and standard building contract forms
The role offers a high degree of autonomy, with flexibility around inspections and hybrid working, while still being part of a collaborative and high-performing team.
What you'll need to succeed
- MRICS qualified with strong commercial building surveying experience
- Proven ability to manage projects and deliver instructions from inception to completion
- Excellent technical knowledge across both professional and project-based surveying
- Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members is highly desirable
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project is advantageous
- A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Full UK driving licence
