Your new company

Your new organisation is a long-standing and leading independent Chartered Accountancy firm which provides comprehensive tax and accountancy services to a variety of individuals and businesses across a range of sectors throughout the country, from sole traders to notable Scottish companies. You will be working with this fantastic firm, with beautiful offices and friendly and supportive colleagues. Agile and flexible working arrangements are in place and will be maintained post-pandemic. This may be 2 days per week in the office and starting any time between 8-10am. Those seeking part-time hours may also be considered.

Your new role

Working within an established and reputable Tax Team and reporting to the Senior Tax Manager, you will manage a portfolio of clients. You will ensure the delivery of accurate and timely compliance services, answer any queries and draft responses and reports relating to tax planning. The range of advisory work is extensive but will likely include Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Planning, Wealth Extraction and Corporate Restructuring. Further to this, you will review computations drafted by other members of the team and contribute to the team positively in relation to implementing process improvements.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have practical experience of delivering high-quality tax compliance services to Private Clients. You will also have exposure to supporting or leading planning projects. This will ideally be complimented by a relevant professional qualification, such as ATT and/or CTA. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work well in a collaborative team whilst utilising your own initiative.
