Your new role

Assistant Site Manager required to support the delivery of a high‑quality residential conversion project with a ground‑floor commercial unit on the outskirts of Cambridge. This role suits someone who is confident coordinating trades, and proactive in maintaining programme, quality, and safety on a live site.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the day‑to‑day running of site operations to ensure works are delivered safely, on schedule, and to specification.
  • Support the coordination of subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to maintain efficient sequencing of works.
  • Contribute to overseeing all stages of the building construction.
  • Help maintain compliance with health and safety requirements, including inductions, toolbox talks, and routine inspections.
  • Monitor workmanship and quality standards, raising issues promptly and escalating where necessary.
  • Track progress against programme, identifying risks or delays and supporting corrective actions.
  • Assist with site logistics, including deliveries, waste management, and material storage within a constrained environment.
