An Interim Assistant Repairs & Maintenance Manager job based in Worcestershire

Your new role
Your role will support the effective management of day-to-day repairs and maintenance operations and lead and coordinate the wider team, including Senior Tradespersons and Caretaking staff. You will:
- Ensure high standards of service delivery, customer satisfaction, and health & safety compliance
- Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to meet service demands
- Contribute to service improvement through data, feedback, and systems thinking
- Manage the direct labour teams
- Ensure efficient delivery of the out-of-hours service
- Ensure that all work is carried out within relevant health and safety legislation
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will require:
- Proven experience in housing repairs or property maintenance
- Strong understanding of building maintenance practices and health & safety regulations
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage teams, prioritise workloads, and deliver customer-focused services
- A flexible, hands-on approach with a commitment to continuous improvement
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a competitive hourly rate based on your level of experience. Length of assignment is expected to be 3-6 months, with potential for extension, and potential permanent appointment.
