A well-established and growing environmental consultancy with a strong presence across the UK is seeking an EIA Assistant Project Manager to join its North Wales team. The organisation delivers high-quality environmental and planning services across a range of sectors, including infrastructure, energy, and development, and is known for its collaborative approach and technical excellence.

Your new role

As an EIA Assistant Project Manager, you will support the delivery of Environmental Impact Assessment projects from early-stage planning through to submission. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in coordinating inputs, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the coordination and delivery of EIA projects
  • Supporting project management activities, including programme and budget tracking
  • Contributing to Environmental Statements, Screening and Scoping Reports
  • Reviewing technical outputs from specialist consultants
  • Liaising with clients, local authorities, and key stakeholders
  • Supporting tender submissions and fee proposals


What you'll need to succeed

  • A degree in Environmental Science, Geography, Planning, or a related discipline
  • Experience working within Environmental Impact Assessment or a similar field
  • Understanding of the UK planning system and EIA regulations (Wales knowledge desirable)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within a team environment
  • Progression towards (or interest in) professional accreditation such as IEMA or RTPI
