Salary: £28,000 - £35,000
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Are you an experienced early years professional ready to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Nursery Manager to join our supportive and forward-thinking nursery team.

About the Role
As Assistant Nursery Manager, you will play a key part in the day-to-day running of the nursery, supporting the Manager in ensuring children receive the highest standards of care and education. You will help lead a team of enthusiastic practitioners, maintain high-quality provision, and promote a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the Nursery Manager with daily operations and overall leadership
Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and EYFS standards are consistently met
Lead, support, and mentor nursery staff
Build strong relationships with children, families, and external partners
Assist with planning, curriculum delivery, and maintaining excellent learning environments
Contribute to inspections, audits, and continuous improvement
Step up as Duty Manager when required

About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:

Level 3 qualified (or above) in Early Years or Childcare
Experienced working in a nursery setting, ideally with some supervisory experience
Confident in supporting staff, communicating with parents, and maintaining high standards
Organised, proactive, and passionate about early years development
Knowledgeable of EYFS, safeguarding processes, and Ofsted requirements
