Your new company
Your new company is a well-known firm of Chartered Accountants with a credible reputation in Scotland. Given its strong presence, the Audit team manages a large variety of clients, from owner managed businesses to large corporates covering Property, Energy, Retail and Financial Services organisations.

Your new role
In your new role, you will be responsible for planning and project managing all aspects of audits. This will include leading teams on the ground, reporting directly to the manager on a day to day basis and coaching junior members of staff to realise their full potential. You will be budgeting and monitoring the financial performance of projects focusing on optimising profitability. This will involve identifying, researching and helping to resolve complex audit issues.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, you will be a recently qualified ACA or equivalent qualification with strong IT literacy, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Recent external audit experience from a top 10 accountancy firm will be of considerable advantage, or mixed sector Audit experience including some large corporates will be considered. Individuals should demonstrate practical knowledge of UK GAAP/US GAAP and IFRS as well as identifying wider business opportunities.
